Mission

An exceptionally seasoned leader and evangelist to drive the vision and direction for an Enterprise SaaS platform. Responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined product roadmap in a manner that supports consistent business growth for a high growth early stage startup.

Outcomes

  • Manage the process to prioritize the Product roadmap with various stakeholder based on business value and level of effort
  • Provide oversight and accountability for communication and flow of work between customer/product development and Engineering teams
  • Use customer development process to drive product development and manage stakeholder engagement, including co-founders, sales, operations, and early customers
  • Monitor market conditions, customer feedback, and product analytics to ensure product establishes and maintains a visionary/leadership position

As the Product Designer for LaunchPad Central you'll design and build our web interface, enabling thousands of entrepreneurs to accelerate learning and creating great companies. How would you make building great start-ups beautiful and simple?

Visual information is a critical element of the Lean LaunchPad methodology. From the Business Model Canvas, to clover diagrams of market segments, to data analysis visualized through charts and custom d3 interactions the visual representation of key information is extremely important to our product. We've got some great programmers building this data, but we need your help in making it easy to digest.

We're a small team that works together as an open group. We believe in great ideas – not what's printed on your business card. We deliver at least weekly releases in agile sprints, and you'll be working closely with other smart/motivated developers to brainstorm, build, and test features.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to take complex information and synthesize intuitive interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of CSS3 and ability to abstract design
  • Strong testing ethic and a drive to push technology boundaries
  • Experience working in an Agile development cycle

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Bootstrap CSS framework
  • Graphics design experience, particularly creating logos, icons, and print assets
  • Ability to write well, likely product documentation or marketing copy

As a UI/UX Developer you will build out our user interface and help define great user interfaces to make entrepreneurship and mentoring easy. You'll be a hands-on implementer, but there's plenty of opportunity to take ownership of defining design principles, pushing new front end technologies, and otherwise being a lead in determining where we're going.

This is an opportunity to define the interface for the leading Lean Startup software and you'll have a bird's eye view on innovation at leading universities, accelerators, and corporations. How would you make building great start-ups beautiful and easy?

  • Code dynamic interfaces using jQuery-centric javascript
  • Familiarity with JSON-REST APIs and creating flexible front end apps from those

As our QA Engineer, you'll own and define our testing platform and lead efforts to build out a robust and multi-faceted automated test suite. We have some rudimentary unit testing and manual test script in place, but we're ready for a smart and creative person like yourself to lead us forward. Your focus will be on automation, but there will also be some manual QA processes involved.

We're a small team that works together as an open group. We believe in great ideas – not what's printed on your business card. We deliver at least weekly releases in agile sprints, and you'll be working closely with other smart/motivated developers to create, manage, and expand test infrastructure. Our developers have a strong commitment to code quality and are excited to work with the tools you'll be leading.

As our first QA or DevOps team member, you'll have excellent opportunities to grow in this role. You'll be reporting to the CTO and if you can demonstrate the ability this will easily expand into a team lead role over time.

Required Skills:

  • Production experience with automated test infrastructure
  • Knowledge of continuous integration tools and strategies for test integration
  • Ability to create test automations from end user narrative scripts
  • Knowledge of distributed VCS, preferably git and GitHub Enterprise
  • Desire to create high quality product and the drive to get to the bottom of a puzzle or problem
  • Experience working in an Agile development cycle

Desirable Skills:

  • DevOps experience working with cloud infrastructures

Mission

Serving as the go-to person for all office needs and providing leverage to the management team with activities such as managing travel, expense reports, coordinating event logistics, scheduling, etc.

Outcomes

  • Manage all office needs: kitchen and general supplies, weekly team lunches, office lease, and insurance
  • Assist management team with travel scheduling, expense report filing, and other logistics
  • Coordinate the logistics and schedules for all external/internal events
  • Coordinate interview schedules for potential hires and manage on-boarding of new hires
  • Scan vendor invoices and send to Bill.com, and be the point person with bookkeeper and CFO
